Optional for Internet Explorer:
Under Check for newer versions of stored pages, activate the option Every time I visit the web page. This helps to avoid seeing "out-of-date" pages in DocGrid due to what is sometimes referred to as "browser caching". The steps to change the recommended setting in Internet Explorer differ slightly depending on the version:
- In Internet Explorer versions 7 through 11 this option is found by clicking on the Tools menu or button, choosing Internet Options, and then clicking the Settings button under Browsing History on the General tab.
- In Internet Explorer 6, this option is found by clicking on the Tools menu, choosing Internet Options, and then clicking the Settings button under Temporary Internet Files on the General tab.
NOTES ABOUT SAVED PASSWORDS: Clearing your cookies will result in the loss of any saved logins your browser has stored by activating a web site's own "remember login and password" option. If instead you use your browser's built-in feature for saving passwords, they will not be lost by clearing cookies and cache. To make sure you are not clearing passwords saved with your browser's built-in feature for that, consult your browser's documentation.
